First, the design of the long light bars isolates the lighting components to minimize highly concentrated lighting. The split grow light bars provide very uniform light and cover more plants.
The QS PRO and QS PRO+ also have excellent heat dissipation. The split grow light bars help prevent heat accumulation, and we have also increased the height of the heatsink. We designed a 30 cm heatsink, which far exceeds other manufacturers, giving QS PRO and QS PRO+ exceptional heat dissipation capabilities. Choosing products with strong heat dissipation can help you reduce ventilation costs and lower fire risks (though LED products have minimal fire risk compared to traditional ones).
These two features allow the QS PRO and QS PRO+ to have high power, making them ideal for professional growers to illuminate more plants. Speaking of professionalism, the QS PRO and QS PRO+ feature very specialized spectra, which are (385-730nm) and (310-730nm) respectively. Based on the QS Pro series, ICEVER updated the UV components of the QS Pro+ grow light, widening the light spectrum and making the QS Pro+ even more professional.
310nm light is very common in everyday life, such as sterilizing items in public spaces and treating skin conditions in medical settings. Due to its high energy, earlier research found that ultraviolet light could cause plant yellowing, stunting, or even death, which is why it was not widely used in traditional cultivation. However, as scientific research in plant cultivation has increased, it has been discovered that 310nm light also has its advantages. At appropriate doses, it helps improve plant quality. Because of the benefits of 310nm light, it has gradually been incorporated into modern cultivation practices (Excessive UV-B exposure can trigger oxidative stress, leading to DNA damage in plants). Because ultraviolet light has short wavelengths, high energy, and strong light decay, it needs to be replaced regularly. The QS features a detachable UV component that is very easy to replace.
