FAQ FOR QP SERIES
  • The QP grow lights have a dimming knob, allowing users to modify the light intensity (PPFD) according to the plant's growth stage (such as germination, vegetative growth, or flowering). The hanging height can also be modified for different stages to achieve even light coverage and optimum light intensity to match each stage's individual requirements.

    Plant growth requires different PPFD levels. For cann, the ranges are: Seedling stage (100-300 μmol/m²/s), Vegetative stage (300-600 μmol/m²/s), and Flowering stage (600-900 μmol/m²/s). You can refer to the PPFD distribution in the datasheet and adjust the height of grow light in tent.
  • The QP series has an IP65 waterproof and dustproof rating, which effectively prevents moisture and vapor entry, making it ideal for greenhouses and water-rich situations. Different wavelengths of light have varying penetration abilities through materials, and thick waterproof materials can cause significant light loss. The QP grow light has a nano waterproof coating that enhances waterproofing and reduces light loss, especially from water vapor released by plants during photosynthesis. The nano waterproof coating technology not only decreases light loss, but also provides long-term protection, eliminates dust accumulation, and increases the grow lights' lifespan.
  • The QP grow lights employ Samsung LM281B LED chips with a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, while the UV lights last 3,000 hours. Although UV lights have a shorter lifespan, their reduced usage frequency makes them ideal for personal and small-scale plants.
